The Kauffman Selection Committee met on Tuesday, March 9 to hear presentations from interested parties. Eleven requests were received.
The Committee voted to make the following recommendations to the Kauffman Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, March 17 and approved the following disbursements.
State Center Development Association, $1,000; State Center Rose Garden Board, $3,384; State Center Historical Society, $5,511; Gutekunst Public Library, $5,000; State Center Boy Scout Troop #311, $1,965; State Center Rose Festival Association, $2,300; State Center Park & Recreation Department, $12,769.49; State Center Little League, $2,168.70; West Marshall Community School, $4,000; State Center Development Association, $13,271.61.
